Staffordshire Mary & Jesus figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 13.6ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Staffordshire figure with a religious theme which features Mary holding the baby Jesus, stood on a circular base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
Generally good.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
Slight wear to reverse of Mary's head.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to Mary's right arm
and left side.
RESTORATION. Remodelled left leg to baby Jesus.
Right leg reglued and join retouched.
Retouching to hair of both Mary and Jesus.
