Pair Staffordshire black&white spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 6.7ins high, 4.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.



Black and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.









Decorated mainly to the front.



Vent holes to the underside.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to front



and reverse.





RESTORATION. Filled chip to base.





Stabilized and retouched crack along the mold join to dog's chest.
