Victorian, circa 1860. 5.5ins high, 3.5ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base. Black and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside. Maker's marks no.6 molded into the underside.

Generally good.
A few paint losses to the paws.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;
touch marks to the reverse.
RESTORATION: Retouching to reverse of head.
Stabilized and retouched crack to base rim under tail running up the reverse.
