Staffordshire girl at piano figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.7ins high, 4.9ins wide, 2ins depth. Staffordshire figure with a musical theme which features a girl playing a piano, stood on an oval base. Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
Good.
A couple of small flakes to skirt bow.
A few paint losses to the ground,
bow,
girl's hair
and dog.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to front of base.
RESTORATION. Stabilized and retouched hairline to reverse (still slightly visible to rear of girl's skirt).
Right hand reglued and join retouched.
Retouching to girl's nose.
Top half of piano reglued and join retouched.
