Staffordshire pearlware bocage hairdresser figure
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.7ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.9ins depth.
Ralph Wood Staffordshire pearlware bocage figure which features a hairdresser stood cutting a ladies hair, seated on a square base. Multi-coloured version.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside. Maker's marks to the underside.

Book reference not found.
Condition
Good. Chip to hat on the ground.

A few tiny chips to lower base edge.



Some small flakes to ladies left sleeve and left hand.


A few paint losses to hairdresser's jacket, ground, and haidresser's left shoe.




RESTORATION. Hairdressers's right hand remodelled.

Retouching to hairdressers jacket.
