Pair Staffordshire black&white spaniels on bases
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 6.7ins high, 6.5ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated on a rococo base. Black and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.



Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Right facing: Generally good. Small flake to right hind paw.

Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing with some areas of staining;

faint,
over glazed shrinkage line to the right hind leg.

RESTORATION. Retouching to the two of the base corners


and black markings.


Retouched flake to front of base.

Left facing: Generally good. Slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.

RESTORATION. Stabilized and retouched hairlines to front of base.

Retouching to two of the base corners


and black markings.
