Staffordshire Pearlware bocage cow & calf group

pre-Victorian, circa 1830. 4.5ins (11.5 cm) high, 3.1ins (8 cm) wide, 2.6ins (6.5 cm) depth.






Staffordshire figure with a pastoral theme which features a cow and calf, stood on on an
oval base.




Multi-coloured version. Decorated in the round with decoration to the front and the

reverse.



   
Makers marks to the underside.

Chips to bocage.


A few paint losses to russet markings

and ground.



Kiln effects: touch mark to cow at reverse

and to underside.



Bocage tree reglued and join retouched.

Remodelled horns and ears.
