| Staffordshire clock group with a religious theme which features Daniel with |
two lions over a clock face,

stood on on an oval base. |
| Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, |
| decorated only to the front. Vent hole to reverse and underside. |
| This piece represents Daniel in the lions den. Daniel 16-16, 'then the king |
| commanded and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. Now |
| the king spoke and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually |
| Makers marks painted to the underside. |
