WMF butterflies & berries flower dish & liner
Circa 1910. 12ins wide, 5ins high.
WMF Art Nouveau style flower dish and liner.
Pierced frame with butterflies and fruiting vines on both sides.
Two handles in the form of entwined stems with a flower at the top of one.
Four stylised feet around the base. Green glass liner.
Impressed maker's marks under one foot 'WMF', 'EP' (electroplated), 'I/O' (normal thickness of plating/gilding), and 'as' (antique silver finish).
Condition
CONDITION: Fair.
Base has a flower missing from one handle.
The top layer has flaked away in a couple of places.
There is general wear and tarnishing.
The glass liner: good. Slight wear to interior.
