French Majolica Rooster posy vase

Victorian, circa 1900. 5.3ins high, 4.5ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Unidentified French Majolica posy holder which features a rooster stood in front of a fence.



Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.









Bears a pattern number, '6307 77'.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Small chips to base rim.





Small flake to rooster's crest.



KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the interior of spill;



over glazed shrinkage lines to the roosters ankles.
