Wedgwood Majolica sunflower pitcher
Victorian, circa 1888. 7.1ins high, 5.9ins wide, 4.7ins depth.
Wedgwood Majolica jug/pitcher which features sunflower petals. Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1888.

CONDITION: Good. Slight wear to exterior, handle and underside.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the brown and green glazes;
notable crazing.
RESTORATION. Two retouched flakes to spout rim.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to interior of rim.
