Wedgwood Majolica pictorial lattice rimmed plate

Victorian, circa 1873. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features a bunch of cob nuts in green glaze to the centre.
Pierced rim divided by three cartouches of grazing deer and a hunting scene.



Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1873.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Tight hairline to on section of lattice on rim.



Small shallow chip to rim.



Small flake to rim.



Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
