Victorian, circa 1890. 10.2ins high, 10.4ins wide, 7.5ins depth. Palissy Majolica teapot which features cabbage leaves forming the teapot and a snake forming the handle and spout.
Colouration: green, grey, cream, are predominant.

A few flakes to leaf edges.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze.
RESTORATION. A few filled chips and retouched flakes to leaves.
Two leaves reglued and join retouched.
Cover: Good. No restoration.
Flake to one leaf.
KILN EFFECTS: a couple of shrinkage cracks to the flange.
