Colouration: brown, ochre, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2222'.

Cover: Very good. No restoration.
Very slight wear to the handle.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the under rim.
Dish: Generally good. No restoration.
Bruise to the rim.
Flaking around the rim.
KILN EFFECTS: staining to craze lines;
glaze pops to the interior;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the rim.
Stand: Good. No restoration.
Slight wear to interior and around the rim.
Light scratch to interior.
