Victorian, circa 1868. 1.8ins high, 6.5ins wide, 8.9ins depth.
English Majolica strawberry server which features a basket weave server with two wells for sugar and cream, decorated with strawberries and strawberry leaves.
We have attributed this piece to the George Jones factory. Colouration: green, ochre, lilac, are predominant.
English diamond registration mark for the date 16/06/1868.

CONDITION: Good. Some small flakes to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: a few shrinkage cracks to the underside.
RESTORATION. Retouching to petals on flower on either side of the wells and to one strawberry in the middle.
