Set of 3 Wedgwood Majolica ribbon & bulrush pitchers
Victorian, circa 1874. Tallest is 8.3ins high, 6.9ins wide, 5.3ins depth. Set of three Wedgwood Majolica jug/pitchers which feature bulrushes entwined with ribbon to the exterior.
Brown ground version.
Colouration: ochre, green, blue, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '1646'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Large: Good.
One small flake to one leaf.
Slight wear to handle.
KILN EFFECTS:
faint shrinkage lines along the mold joins;
craze lines to the interior.
RESTORATION: Retouched flake to rim of spout.
Medium: Good.
A few small flakes to exterior.
KILN EFFECTS: bruise to the lower base edge;
thin glaze application to the brown ground.
RESTORATION: Filled and retouched chip to rim above the handle.
Small: Generally good.
A few flakes to the exterior and the handle.
Some wear to exterior.
Kiln effects: a few tiny glaze pops to the ochre glaze;
