Minton Majolica male vintager flower holder

Victorian, circa 1868. 9.6ins high, 6.3ins wide, 4.4ins depth. Minton Majolica flower holder which features a male vintager leaning over a basket. Colouration: ochre, turquoise, green, are predominant.









The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1868.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines to lid of basket.



RESTORATION: Filled chip to hat.





Head reglued and join retouched.
