Minton Majolica 3-legged compote
Victorian, circa 1880. 4.7ins high, 7.9ins wide, 7.9ins depth.
Minton Majolica compote which features a turquoise dish on top of three lion/camel legs stood on a triangular base.
Colouration: turquoise, ochre, cobalt blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1880.

Condition
Good. No restoration. Light scratches from use.

Slight wear to the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to lower base edge.
