Victorian, circa 1890. 6.1ins high, 9.8ins wide, 8.5ins depth.

Rorstrand Majolica tureen with cover which features a woven basket with an egg finial.

Colouration: ochre, turquoise, brown, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Rorstrand pottery.

CONDITION: Cover: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the egg.

RESTORATION. Stabilized and retouched hairline to rim.

Base: Good. No restoration. Two tight hairline.

Staining from use.
