John Ford & Co.??? Scottish Majolica Puppy Figure

Early to mid 20thC, circa 1940. 8.3ins high, 5.1ins wide, 6.7ins depth. Unidentified Scottish Majolica figural which features a puppy wearing a pink bow
with blue bell around it's neck.



Colouration: green, brown, pink, are predominant.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze;







glaze pops to the front right paw;



glaze run to the bell



and one ear;



shrinkage crack around the puppy's right eye;



manufacture slip mould fault to puppy's nose.
