Circa 1890. 6.9ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.7ins depth.
Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica vase which features two frogs.
Colouration: beige green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Under rim chip, not visible when sat on a surface.
KILN EFFECTS: shallow firing cracks to the basket weave;
glaze run to the green and ochre glazes.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to base rim.
Retouching to the lower frog's nose and toes on back left leg.
