Majolica leaping fish pitcher
Victorian, circa 1870. 7.9ins high, 6.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth.
Majolica jug/pitcher which features a leaping fish on both sides. Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, grey, are predominant.

CONDITION: Generally good. Some small flakes to grass, handle and fish.



RESTORATION. Retouching to fins, eyes, mouth, spout, handle and rim.










Stabilized and retouched shrinkage crack to one fishes mouth.
