Victorian, circa 1890. 9.1ins high, 10.2ins wide, 4.5ins depth.
Elias Portuguese Palissy Majolica wine vessel which features a bull stood on an oval base.
Colouration: brown, orange, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Elias pottery.

Condition
CONDITION: Good. Small flake to bull's back.
Slight wear to bull's back.
KILN EFFECTS: small over glazed chips to the base rim;
a few tiny specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the bull and base.
RESTORATION. Both horns and right ear reglued and join retouched.
Some retouching to the left ear and the back of the head.
