Circa 1920. 9ins diameter by 4ins high. Wedgwood dragon lustre imperial bowl.
Blue mottled exterior decorated with three gilded celestial dragons and flames.
Gilt Greek key border around the rim and foot.
Mother of pearl interior decorated with small dragons (Ch'iu Lung), and a larger dragon in the centre.
Gilt Papillon border around the inside of the rim.
Wedgwood 'Portland vase' maker's mark and pattern number,'Z4829' to underside.
Condition
Generally good. No restoration.
Some wear and scratching to the exterior and interior.
Rubbing to gilt borders and motifs.
Kiln effects: a few small glaze pops to the blue ground to exterior.
Rings very well.
