Small Wedgwood Butterfly Lustre vase

Circa 1920. 5.25ins high. Wedgwood butterfly lustre vase, shape number 2354. Mother of pearl exterior ground decorated with various butterflies.

Floral border around the inner rim. Orange lustre around the interior rim.

Wedgwood 'Portland vase' maker's mark, 'WEDGWOOD ENGLAND' and pattern number Z4832, all to underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Slight wear to exterior.

Very slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: tiny firing pit to the rim;

glaze run to the orange and blue glazes;

glaze accumulation above the foot rim.
