Vase decorated with a Celestial dragon and sacred pearl with flames motif on ruby ground. Floral border around the rim and foot.

Mother of Pearl interior decorated with butterflies.

Papillon border around the inside rim.

Wedgwood 'Portland vase' maker's mark, 'WEDGWOOD ENGLAND' and pattern number 2357 to underside.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

Wear to the ruby exterior ground.

Scratches from use.
