
Victorian, circa 1880. 8.5ins high, 11.1ins wide, 2ins depth. Brard Majolica wall platter which features fish (a perch and a barbel), an eel and a cockle shell.
An attractive floral border.
Colouration: blue, black, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Brard pottery.
CONDITION: Very Good. KILN EFFECTS: stilt marks to the rim;
thin glaze application to patches on the rim.
RESTORATION. Retouching to end of eel tail.
