Victorian, circa 1880. 7.7ins high, 12.2ins wide, 7.6ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica game pie dish which features a fox holding a goose down amongst ferns.

Holly hanging off the branch-like handles.

Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, brown, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, '+'.

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. RESTORATION. One ear of fox remodelled.

Retouched flake to two feet.

Staining from use to the inside rim.
