
Victorian, circa 1875. 17.9ins high, 11.8ins wide, 11.2ins depth. Brown Westhead Moore and Co Majolica figural vase which features two storks, one standing and the other crouched beside.
A frog hides on the ground below.
There are leaves and foliage around the base and a tree stump forms the vase at the back.
Blue/grey ground version. Colouration: brown, green, pale blue, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '771'.
CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration.
KILN EFFECTS: two shallow over glazed chips to the lower base edge;
shrinkage line to the chest of the crouching bird.
