George Jones Majolica Twin Lobed Bird Dish

Victorian, circa 1869. 4.8ins high, 13.8ins wide, 8.1ins depth. George Jones Majolica dish which features a bird (thrush) forming the handle.

Two lobes either side with fern, flowers and maple leaves.

Colouration: green, brown, white, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '2554'. English diamond registration mark for the date 22/12/1869.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally Good. RESTORATION. Bird reglued and join retouched.
