George Jones Majolica Swan Jardiniere

Victorian, circa 1875. 12.2ins high, 14.4ins wide, 14.4ins depth. George Jones Majolica jardinière which features swans swimming on water, surrounded by lily pads, flowers and bullrushes (cattails).

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '3568'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to the rim.

A few retouched flakes to the white flowers.
