Wilhelm Schiller Majolica Frog playing Tuba Figure

Circa 1880. 7.9ins high, 3.1ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Schiller Majolica figure which features an anthropomorphic frog musician, dressed in formal clothing, playing a tuba.

Colouration: green, yellow, blue, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Schiller pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1104'.
