Wavy border.
Colours green, light brown, gold, silver, black, pink, red and blue.
Verse entitled 'On Virtue' reads, 'VIRTUE is the chiefest beauty of the mind, The noblest ornament of humankind, Virtue is OUR safeguard and OUR guiding staR, That stiRs Up Reason when our senses eRR'.

CONDITION: Generally Good. A few holes, mostly backed with linen.
Missing edge outside the border in places.
A few pale stain specks.
No stitch losses. Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading.
No colour run. Stretching is slightly uneven, with top left border slightly over framed.
Frame in very good condition, ready to hang.
