
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 12.2ins high, 10.2ins wide, 7.1ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery dogs which feature 'chunky' spaniels with front leg molded free, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Black and white version. Dull gilt lockets and chains. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the undersides.
CONDITION: Right facing: Good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the back of the free leg, not visible to front.
Kiln detritus inclusion to bottom of front.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes in places to black markings.
Left facing: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to front right paw on reverse.
