Staffordshire Pottery Recumbent Tiger Figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 3.4ins high, 3.1ins wide, 1.7ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a tiger, recumbent on an oval base.

Ochre painted base line. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage crack to the lower base edge;

shrinkage line along the mold join;

craze lines to the reverse.

RESTORATION. A few retouched flakes.
