Pair Thomas Sergent Palissy Majolica Candlesticks

Circa 1875. Tallest is 8.5ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Pair of Thomas Sergent French Palissy Majolica candlesticks which feature blossom and leaves around the base.

A lizard peering up at a snake to the stem.

 

Colouration: brown, green, grey, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Left side: Very Good. No restoration. Flake to the base.

Right side: Generally Good. RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched cracks to the stem.
