Cunha Palissy Majolica Frogs Plate

Circa 1890. 2.8ins high, 9.4ins wide, 9.4ins depth. Cunha Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plate which features five frogs on a grassy ground.

Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Cunha pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. A few inconspicuous chips to the grassy ground.

RESTORATION. Remodelled foot to one frog.

Retouched flake to frog nose.
