Rare Mafra Palissy Majolica Crab Plate
Circa 1890. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plaque which features a crab to the centre, two eels, leaves and shellfish.
Colouration: brown, green, dark pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.

CONDITION: Very Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to crab leg.
