
Circa 1890. 10ins high, 6.7ins wide, 4.2ins depth. Mafra Portuguese Palissy Majolica candlestick which features a mouse, nibbling on maize/sweetcorn cob plant.
Colouration: green, yellow, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.
CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chips to corn cob rim.
