George Jones Majolica Butterfly Box

Victorian, circa 1872. 3ins high, 3.9ins wide, 3.1ins depth. George Jones Majolica box and cover which features a peacock butterfly forming the removable lid.

The base is embellished with flowers around the sides.

Colouration: scarlet, yellow, green, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Tiny nibble to the underside of the lid.

A few inconspicuous flakes on the rim of lid.
