Minton Majolica Figure of a Fisherwoman

Victorian, circa 1864. 14.2ins high, 6.7ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Minton Majolica figure which features a fisherwoman, holding a basket of fish, with a net slung over her shoulder.

Colouration: brown, green, grey, are predominant.

This rare figure pairs with the Minton Falconer figure. The circular base with double rings are common to both figures.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1864.
