
Circa 1880. 9.3ins high, 7.5ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Hugo Lonitz Majolica wall pocket which features a goldfinch attending it's nest, surrounded by oak leaves and acorns.
Colouration: green, brown, yellow, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1264'.
CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Slight wear to birds right wing end/tip.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to acorn and leaves. (overpainted on oak leaf)
