
Victorian, circa 1861. 10.9ins high, 14.6ins wide, 12.8ins depth. Minton Majolica jardinière and stand which features oak leaves and acorns, with two branch-effect handles.
Rare, Magenta ground version. Colouration: magenta, green, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '650'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1861.
CONDITION: Jardiniere: Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to the rim.
Glaze shrinkage lines to the underside, not present on inside.
Stand: Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
