Minton Majolica Holly and Misletoe Christmas Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1865. 8.3ins high, 7.1ins wide, 6.3ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features holly and mistletoe with a branch handle.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '580'. English diamond registration mark for the date ??/01/1863. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1865.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
