Large Delphin Massier Donkey Figural Vase

Circa 1890. 18ins high, 22.4ins wide, 12ins depth. Delphin Massier French Majolica figural vase which features a standing donkey with basket panniers.

Colouration: ochre, grey, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery and pattern number '19'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: a few patches where glaze has accumulated.

RESTORATION. One ear reglued and join retouched through base of ear.

Other ear tip reglued and join retouched.
