
Circa 1890. 3.9ins high, 4.9ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Elias Portuguese Palissy Majolica toothpick holder which features a pig, feeding from a trough.
Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Elias pottery.
CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration.
Slight patch of wear to pig's neck.
KILN EFFECTS: a couple of glaze pops to the pig's back.
