George Jones Majolica Hummingbird Wall Pocket

Victorian, circa 1875. 13.8ins high, 8.3ins wide, 3.9ins depth. George Jones Majolica wall pocket which features a hummingbird drawing nectar from a flower, amongst lush leaves and foliage.

Colouration: green, white, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3385'.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally Good. RESTORATION. Filled chips to end of two top branches.

Retouched flaking to leaves.

Remodelled hummingbird beak.

Filled chip to wing tips.
