George Jones Majolica Rustic Blossom Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1870. 6.1ins high, 6.7ins wide, 4.9ins depth. George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features pink and white blossom (hawthorn or mayflower), and green leaves on brown, bark effect ground and a rustic branch molded handle.

Colouration: brown, green, pink, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, '3374'.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally Good. Coloured in chip to on leaf.

RESTORATION. Filled chips to lower base edge.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to the rim.

Retouched flakes to handle.
