George Jones Majolica Floral Basket

Victorian, circa 1875. 5.1ins high, 11.2ins wide, 8.7ins depth. George Jones Majolica basket which features a repeating pattern of flowers around the rim.

Basketweave centre with an arching handle.

Colouration: turquoise, pink, green, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '2252 6'.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally Good. Slight staining to basketweave centre.

KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application in places, with underlying pottery showing through.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to handle.
