Victorian, circa 1873. 10.2ins high, 11.4ins wide, 11.4ins depth. George Jones Majolica cheese keep which features a branch handle with apple blossoms.

Turquoise ground version.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '3243'. English diamond registration mark for the date 25/04/1873.

CONDITION: Cover: Generally Good. KILN EFFECTS: firing hole to basketweave.

RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched cracks.

Base: Good. KILN EFFECTS: glaze misses to the centre.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.
